Surrounded by lush green tea gardens, Malbazar is an important township in Duars, West Bengal. Keeping Malbazar as a base, one can visit places of interest in and around Duars. Otherwise one can just relax for a few days and enjoy its serene ambience and scenic beauty.

To reach Malbazar directly, take 3149 Up Kanchankanya Express which leaves from Sealdah station at 9:35 p.m. four times a week and reaches New Mal Junction station. Besides this train, you may board any other train which goes up to New Jalpaiguri station and on arrival either take a bus or car which will reach you to Malbazar.

There are many hotels, lodges and government-run guest houses in Malbazar. But the best place to stay is in the West Bengal State Tourism Tourist Lodge.
