BHUBANESWAR
ABOUT THE PLACE
The capital city of Orissa was once the battleground of the gory battle of Kalinga. Again, from here the religion of peace and harmony, Buddism spread across Southeast Asia. The city has always been at the centre of historical events and political drama. Throughout the rule of a number of dynasties more than 500 shrines had been built in Bhubaneswar, giving it the name of ‘Temple City’.
