ARAMBOL BEACH
ABOUT THE PLACE
Comparatively less known Arambol is another solitary beach in north Goa. The most fascinating thing about this place is that nature has bestowed it with a fresh water lake with high sulpher content in the water situated barely 200m from the sea. This makes the place ideal for bathing and swimming. Close to the beach is the Arambol village. Tourists can get a glimpse of the mundane culture of a typical Goan rural life. Fishing is the prime source of livelihood here.
The wide sea beach is often congested with rocks and pebbles. The 16 km long beach has stretches suitable for swimming and surfing.
