Nameri Wildlife Sanctuary
On the banks of the Jia Bharali river, Nameri offers you a personalized
wetland holiday. Tucked between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, this
pocket sized forest is accessible through the privately-run Eco
Camp. The scenic riverbank and the riparian forest still holds a
tranquil charm. In October and November, there is plenty of angling
opportunities, when you tag the fish and return it to the river.
Between November and March, bird-watching is a worthwhile pastime.
There are also opportunities to elephant ride and go rafting.
